This Social Studies lesson is geared toward 7th/8th graders, which gives them an opportunity to research and plan for attracting vacationers, visitors, and/or foreigners to live in or travel to a particular destination.  This assignment engages students in the following skills:

Analysis (finding evidence/resources for support, trying to understand reason, outlining, pointing out, examining to develop conclusion/cause/motive; distinguishes, classifies, and relates the assumptions, hypotheses, evidence, or structure of a statement or question)

Synthesis (applying knowledge/skill for a production, collaborating, combining, composing, creating, designing, planning; originates, integrates, and
combines ideas into a product, plan or proposal)

Evaluation (judging material based on opinion/preference, concluding, critiquing, deciding, justifying; appraises, assesses, or critiques on a basis of specific standards and criteria)
